Fishkill Ave Concepts Committee: Public Comment Meeting
Sunday 9th March @ 2-5pm at Industrial Arts Brewing
Learn what the committee has been working on for the last year, specifically zoning and Complete Streets (i.e. making the road safer for all modes of transportation—bikes, pedestrians, mobility scooters, strollers - and yes, cars too!) It is also another opportunity to voice your support for bike lanes, so we would like as many of you to come as possible. Let's show the decision makers in Beacon that there is strong support for bike lanes along Fishkill Avenue - for ourselves, our kids, and for the whole community!

Everyone is welcome!
Join us for a friendly monthly group ride. Casual rides, all levels of bicyclists are welcome. Rides vary in length and difficulty — some are a slow, easy tour of town with kiddos in tow, where we stop to share our dreams and vision for bike-friendly roads in Beacon, others are longer, faster rides across the river to Newburgh or beyond. “Women on Bikes How 2 Wheels Changed the World”
Join us at Hudson Valley Brewery for a 30 minute presentation on the many ways bikes changed history for women. New clothing was required, but also new ideas—especially about exercise and women’s role in society—even the right to vote! Men were affected too, so gather your crew and ride your bikes over for some bike conversation and community. Plus Get Lost Pizza Co will have their ovens going!
